We all have characters in our family tree, and Jesus was no different.  In a Bent Tree Christmas, we’ll look at the lineage of Jesus Christ and how God used those characters to bring about God’s rescue mission of his people through his Son Jesus Christ.  In week one we look at why God sent His son (Immanuel) and why we needed a savior.  The first Adam brought sin and death into the world.  The second Adam’s death brought life.  With that new life Christ Followers have, comes the responsibility to follow God’s plan in their daily lives.
