 November 25, 2020

To protect those who are more vulnerable in our church body, and due to the rise of covid cases and sickness in our community, we will be enforcing the following measures during our Sunday Services.

By visiting Bent Tree Church, you are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to Covid-19.

  • Those over the age of 60 and those with pre-existing conditions such as heart disease and respiratory illness should remain very cautious in deciding when to rejoin us in person.

  • If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19, please wait 3 days after your symptoms have stopped.

  • And if you’ve been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to Sunday, please stay home as well.

  • Although we will still have our in-person services, for now, we will continue broadcasting them online via Facebook and YouTube.

If you do decide to join us for in-person services, here are the rules we need you to follow in the coming weeks:

  • We will be maintaining at least 6 feet of social distancing at all times. Our volunteers may ask you to move out of an area to avoid crowding, and we will usher you out of the building directly after each service.

  • When you arrive, you will be required to wear a face mask in our facility at all times. Everyone over the age of 2 must wear a face mask over the nose and mouth. You will be asked to put your mask back on if you lower it, or if it’s slipped down. Please follow our leader's and volunteers' instructions. You will be asked to leave if you continue to not wear a mask or practice social distancing.

  • As you enter the building, our volunteers will be screening each and every guest by checking your temperature and making sure you don’t have any common symptoms of a cold or flu-like illness.

  • Children must be supervised and kept near at all times.

  • You must have a reservation to attend our services in person. This is the best way for us to make sure we have the necessary distance between parties. You can reserve seats now at

  • Although we hope to begin to ease these requirements in the future, our enhanced health and safety measures for you, our guests, and our volunteers and staff are meant to protect those that are more vulnerable in our church body, and in our city. Please seek understanding and unity with the church leadership through this time.

  • In the event we have to cancel an in-person service due to a lack of volunteers, please seek understanding. We will try our best to communicate this as early as possible.
