CORONAVIRUS UPDATE

February 13, 2021

To protect those who are more vulnerable in our church body we will be enforcing the following measures during our Sunday Services:

DISCLAIMER:
By visiting Bent Tree Church, you are voluntarily assuming all risks related to exposure to Covid-19.

  • Those over the age of 60 and those with pre-existing conditions such as heart disease and respiratory illness should remain very cautious in deciding when to rejoin us in person.

  • If you’ve tested positive for COVID-19, please wait 3 days after your symptoms have stopped.

  • And if you’ve been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the 14 days prior to Sunday, please stay home as well.

  • Although we will still have our in-person services, for now, we will continue broadcasting them online via Facebook and YouTube.

If you do decide to join us for in-person services, here are the rules we need you to follow in the coming weeks:

  • Reservations are required for all Services to make sure we have enough room for everyone. You may reserve seats now at btc.churchcenter.com.

  • Masks are required at the 8:00am & 9:30am Services.

  • Masks are NOT required at the 11:00am Service.

  • We will be maintaining at least 6 feet of social distancing at all times. Our volunteers may ask you to move out of an area to avoid crowding, and we will usher you out of the building directly after each service.

  • For the 8:00am & 9:30am Services Only: When you arrive, you will be required to wear a face mask in our facility at all times. Everyone over the age of 2 must wear a face mask over the nose and mouth. You will be asked to put your mask back on if you lower it, or if it’s slipped down. Please follow our leader's and volunteers' instructions. You will be asked to leave if you continue to not wear a mask or practice social distancing.

  • Children must be supervised and kept near at all times.

  • Although we hope to begin to ease these requirements in the future, our enhanced health and safety measures for you, our guests, and our volunteers and staff are meant to protect those that are more vulnerable in our church body, and in our city. Please seek understanding and unity with the church leadership through this time.
