BEnt TREE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
As a Bent Tree Internship Program participant, you'll become part of the exciting work of ministry in Northern Colorado. Gain valuable, hands-on experience serving in our various ministries, participate in studies and ministry shadowing, and have the opportunity to meet and live with people who are called into ministry too. This truly unique program allows participants to network with church leaders, take part in personal and vocational development, and build transferable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, discipleship, and more.
Arrive: Tuesday, June 16, 2020
Depart: Sunday, July 26-27, 2020
As part of the Bent Tree Internship Program, participants live in housing provided by Bent Tree Church members. While living in Northern Colorado, interns will have a chance to explore the beauty of the Colorado Mountains - from hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, to 4-wheeling, summer campfires, and more! Check out RMNP >
On a Bent Tree Internship, learning extends beyond the church office. Interns will be personally mentored, taught, and discipled throughout the summer by Bent Tree staff and key volunteers. You'll learn how Bent Tree operates from behind-the-scenes and gain real world experience on the front lines of a dynamic ministry.
Bent Tree Church's vision is Spiritual Maturity producing Leadership Development leading to Spiritual Growth. We are all about growing disciples into mature "Spiritual Parents" who actively disciple others. Our desire is that each intern will have matured spiritually, mentally, and in ministry ability. Plane tickets to and from Denver, Colorado are not covered. Each intern will be responsible to get to Denver International Airport.
Interns are encouraged to bring their personal vehicles to Colorado, but it is not a requirement. Transportation will be provided to and from DIA.
The internship is unpaid and each intern must raise a minimum of $1,500 to help cover their housing cost, meals, and activities. Bent Tree does not profit from this and will cover any additional costs that arise outside of the $1,500.
We ask that the interns raise support through sponsorships of people in their church, friends or extended family.
Bent Tree provides an online way for interns to track their support raising and supporters may have tax benefits for their financial support. Check with your tax preparation professional.
